Full Conversion Drive Train

Double-fed Drive Train Technology

• Conventional technology for over 10 years
• Has limitations such as limited LVRT capabilities, no redundancy, covered by a patent until 2017 in many countries, and a complicated 50/60 Hz switch
• Requires additional power quality equipment, which AMSC can provide with its D-VAR system
